THX 4 stopping by Purple Dog, JP, Indy, Mix & Kenneth ! To answer Purple Dog - JP’s right. The Dodgers are beat up right now and trudging back to the MidWest to face the Brewers.

That HAD to have been a very long plane ride after having been swept at home by the Astros - unless Kiki loosened the team up on the trip. I thought they would rebound on Sunday after suffering the worse loss in Dodger Stadium history (17-1) on the 4th of July with a sell out crowd having to stay and watch it all if they wanted to see the fireworks show after the game, but they looked listless yesterday and down.

The team needs a Tommy Lasorda type locker room speech / tirade, but Dave Roberts doesn’t do that sort of thing.

Ohtani is a streaky hitter and right now he has been in a horrible slump (which pretty much started when he resumed his pitching duties - and DH ing in the same games.)

I know the Brewers have had their share of injuries too. Maybe Norm can chime in with his view from the other dugout.
