DET @ SF
The Tigers head to San Francisco to open a series with the Giants, after taking two of three from the Mariners in Seattle, but losing 4-3 last night. They are now 12 games behind the Guardians in the AL Central and 9 games out in the AL wild card race with no realistic way to get to the postseason.
The Giants took two of three from the Nats in DC including a 9-5 win yesterday. They now still trail the Dodgers by 8 games in the NL West, but are just 3 games out in the wacky NL wild card race.

Edge – SF
Conclusion: The Giants are the better hitting team and they have the better starting pitcher. Kenta Maeda has been an unmitigated disaster for the Tigers with a terrible stat profile.By contrast, Robbie Ray has only started 3 game since returning form Tommy John Surgery, but two of his three starts have grded as above average. He has given up 7 runs on 10 hits and 6 walks over 14.1 innings with 21 Ks. While he has struggled some with his command, his velocity is still there and 21 Ks in just over 14 innings is impressive.
I am adding the Giants 1st 5 to my parlay card and pairing it with everything else except the Twins, since that game is already over.
