1. Minnesota ML First Five innings (-145)
Let me preface by saying I thought long and hard about laying the -110 on Minnesota -0.5 first five innings because this is truly a mismatch but I felt more at peace taking the ML -145.
Minnesota strength is hitting righties at home... Colorado struggles to hit righties on the road... Advantage Minnesota...
We have Dylan Bundy on the mound today for Minnesota and he has pitched excellent at home this season. In 4 home starts, he's given up an avg of 1.25 runs. Minnesota is 2-2 in his 4 home starts this season.
Colorado has German Marquez on the mound today and he's pitched horrible on the road or at home... Back on June 18, I wrote about how horrible this guy is...I had San Diego ML first five innings in that game and they were up 4-2 going into bottom of 5th and Colorado hits 2 run shot and I pushed but German Marquez is horrible... In 5 road starts he's given up an avg of 4.20 runs... If you want to throw out his worst road performance he's given up an avg of 3.50 runs in 4 road starts.
In my opinion we're getting the better pitcher and we're getting great line value... (This is one of these situations where I believe the first five innings line should be higher than the game line) We also have a situation where one pitcher Dylan Bundy is getting run support at home and German Marquez is struggling to get decent run support from his team on the road...We should see some runs in these first five innings from Minnesota.
Final score 4-2 First five innings!!!
Let's have a winning evening everybody!!!
