Yankees minus 1 1/2 runs minus $1.50 (run line) at Orioles
The Yankees are the best team in baseball and have their best pitcher going. They have dominated the Orioles, their favorite patsy, winning 39 of the last 52 games against them.
So, yeah, I feel fine laying 1 1/2 runs with visiting New York on the run line.
The Yankees are 22-4 in their last 26 games. Gerrit Cole takes the ball for the Yankees. He's back in his elite groove after a slow start with a 1.42 ERA in his last four starts. Cole has a 4-1 lifetime mark against Baltimore with a 1.41 ERA and a 64-to-nine strikeout-to-walk ratio in 44 2/3 innings.
The Orioles are pitching Jordan Lyles, who has a losing record and 4.38 ERA. Lyles has to deal with a Yankee lineup that ranks No. 2 in homers and has scored the third-most runs. Baltimore is back playing bad, dropping its past five games.
I have my Triple Star Baseball Total of the Week going today along with a Double Star NBA play and One Star hockey play in addition to this free selection. I am 21-11 on my last 32 NBA plays and am looking to keep unbeaten this month on my MLB totals. You can find my plays, packages and records here: https://pregame.com/pros/stephen-nover.
Best of luck and no bad beats!
