As the regular season winds down and the playoffs about to begin, it's time to start thinking about the playoffs.
Before getting to that, our regular season was successful and had a few bumps/hiccups/snags along the way as did many. While we didn't achieve our regular season goal, it was still very profitable.
This season MLB expanded the playoffs to six teams per league, which will make the owners more money.
The Wild Card series are best of three being played 10.07, 10.08 and 10.09 ( if needed). #6 will go to #3 and #5 will play #2.
The Divisional Series are the best of five being scheduled between 10.11 and 10.17. The winner of the #6 vs #3 will take on the #2 seed/team while the #5/#4 winner gets to challenge the #1 seed/team.
The League Championship Series are the best of seven set to play between 10.18 and 10.26. The winners from the #6/#3/#2 will challenge the winners from the #5/#4/#1 winners.
World Series is a best if seven contest/event to be played between 10.28 and 11.05. The League Championship winners will participate.
