The Cards didn’t get off to a good start, but this tean can comeback. We’ll have to see.
Here is the Rest of my card. I am going right back to the parlays and right back to the team that burned me badly yesterday. I am riding five teams and I expect that at least four of them will win, if not all five. Here is the full card.

LAD @ COL: Max Scherzer v Kyle Freeland
Right now, Scherzer is the best pitcher on the planet. What he’s done since joining the Dodgers has been phenomenal. In his 9 starts as a Dodger, Max Scherzer has given up a total of 6 runs (5 earned) on 31 hits and 7 walks over 58 innings, while striking out 79. That comes out to a 0.66 WHIP and a 0.77 ERA! Al he has to do is what Walker Buehleer couldn’t do last night and that should clinch another Cy Young.
Pick LAD 1st 5 and full game MLs in a series of parlays.
ATL @ ARIZ: Charlie Morton v Madison Bumgarner
We have on of the best teams in the N facing one of the worst. The Braves have the much better offense, and even the better bullpen. Charlie Morton’s have a really good season, and Mad Bub not so much.
Pick – ATL 1st 5 and full game MLs in a series of parlays
SF @ SD: Logan Webb v Yu Darvish
This is a tougher call. Webb has been very good for the Giants, but Darvish, while he can be very inconsistent, can also be very good, but the Giants are the better team here.
Pick – SF ML
WASH @ CIN: Patrick Corbin v Luis Castillo
I wrote all about Castillo in yesterday’s post. Castillo really struggled early on this season, and his full season numbers reflect that bad start. While only 18 of his31 starts grading as above average, with 1 grading as average, and 12 grading as below average, Castillo has now reeled off 17 above average starts in his last 20 outings. Over that span he has given up just 41 runs (38 earned) on 89 hits and 40 walks over 124 innings, while striking out 133. That’s comes out to a 1.04 WHIP and a 2.76 ERA over those 20 starts. By contrast orbin has been dreadful.
Pick – CIN 1st 5 ML in a series of parlays
PITT @ PHIL: Connor Overton v Aaron Nola
I’m taking a big risk in (1) betting on Aaron Nola, and (2) betting on the Phils full game with that bullpen. Connor Overton has appeared in 7 MLB games this season, three for the Pirates and 4 for the Blue Jays , with 6 out of the bullpen and 1 as a starter. He has yet to give up a run and has given up a total of 6 hits and 3 walks over 11.2 innings, while striking out 9. Granted, that’s a very small sample size, but so far so good. However Aaron Nola has been very good at home, posting a 0.99 WHIP with a 3.45 ERA and a .266 wOBA. The Phils are the better team.
Pick – PHIL 1st 5 and full game MLs in a series of ML parlays
HTN @ LAA: Lance McCullers v Alex Cobb
McCullers is the Astros best pitcher and has been all season long. Alex Cobb has also been very good for te Angels, but has pitched just once since August 10. Granted, it was a good outing but still… The Astos have the better offense ad the better of two shaky bullpens.
Pick – HTN 1st 5 and fill game ML in a series of ML parlys
