Detroit/Toronto under 9 (-115)
I know one thing, it won't take long for the Blue Jays to call up Vlad Guererro Jr., these Jays are a very weak hitting team. Yesterday's game between these teams had a total of 6 hits, 4 by Detroit and 2 by the Jays. Those kinds of games are becoming more and more frequent, 2018 was the 1st season in MLB history where there were more strikeouts than hits. Last year there were 36 times when teams facing each other had less than 5 hits the day before. You might expect a bounce back to the mean offensive output, but those games after low hit outputs produced an O/U log of 8-25-3 (24.2%), with a total of less than 9 they were 4-21-2 O/U (16%)! Umpire Angel Hernandez shows no O/U bias either way so this looks like a very solid under situation tonight.
