MLB – (957) MILWAUKEE at (958) PITTSBURGH 7:05 ET FSWI, ATT-P
After a pair of low-scoring battles and with both starting pitchers in good form, the total on this NL Central confrontation has dipped from 8.5 to 8. The teams have split the first games, with Pittsburgh a 1-0 winner Monday and a 3-2 loser last evening. Brent Suter (7-4, 4.30 ERA) takes the ball for the Brewers and he has a 3.18 ERA in his past three starts. Chad Kuhl (5-4, 3.76) has a 2.84 ERA in his last eight starts for Pittsburgh. With both starters having an ERA under 2.00 against their opponent and both bullpens in sharp recent form, the UNDER looks correct.
Betting Trend - 66% backing Under
Doug's Take - Play Under
MLB – (963) SEATTLE at (964) N.Y. YANKEES 7:05 ET RTMW, YES
The Yankees offense finally broke out in the 7-2 win against Seattle last night, but because of their pitching, the game still went Under. Felix Hernandez (6-6, 5.44) has been inconsistent but has always pitched well against New York (3.04 ERA) and in the Bronx (2.00). In spite of this, the total has been bumped from 9 to 9.5. Seattle will face Jonathan Loaisiga (1-0) who tossed five scoreless innings in his big league debut. After last night's result, the Yankees are 16-2 UNDER this month and 14-3 UNDER after allowing four runs or less in four straight games.
Betting Trend - 54% backing Over
Doug's Take - Play Under
Good Luck!
