Sleepy, I respect you a lot as a capper, but with all due respect you are wrong here. There are very few managers/head coaches around in professional sports that can actually impact a game and he is one of them. He was the first manager to start using his top relief guns for the most "high leverage" outs, a strategy that got both the Indians and Dodgers as far as they were able to go last year. The idea of bringing in your closer with 0 outs and runners on base in a playoff game was thought of as laughable. But it got the Dodgers past the Nats in the NLDS and Indians to the World Series last year. He also got his team to the World Series down his #2 and #3 starters. I am not an Indians, but I think the blame should be placed elsewhere.
