HOUSTON –4 over Green Bay

Forget the Pack being back.  The Pack is gone.  Houston has the better offense and the better defense.  The biggest advantage for Houston, however, is the strength of their defensive line compared to the weakness of Green Bay’s offensive line.  GB allows a hideous 4.2 sacks per game and Houston”s offensive line gets to the QB a high 3.2 times per game.  Houston by comparison allows just .6 sacks per game. 

Expect QB Rodgers to be running for his life all night, which won’t do anything good for the Green Bay running game that has only averged 97 yds per game. 

Rcommended Play for a $100 per game player:  1.5 Units or $165 to win $150 on Houston –4.

Bet this game as early as you can.  You might still find –3.5, but the line is moving up.  By game time it could be 4.5.  You can continue to bet it at –4.5 for 1 ½ units but that extra ½ point is huge.  Houston will likely need to win by 6 or 7 to cover 4.5.  That’s a big disadvantage. 

In a few weeks this play would have been 2 Units, but it is still too early in the season to go all out on anything.
