Northern Illinois +14.5 over Florida State

Points have been added to the Florida State lay because they are playing in Florida.  The Florida State campus and the Orange Bowl are about as far apart as they could be and still be in the State of Florida.  It's 6 1/2 hour drive from Florida State's campus to the game, but that's still a whole lot closer than Northern Illinois.  Expect the Tom-Tom Thumpers to have the crowd edge, but that still won't overcome the Northern Illinois skills by a huge two TD's.  

These teams are inseparable in yardage, turnovers, special teams, and penalties.  Give Florida state a few points for the crowd, and we've got them winning by less than a TD.  

If the crowd gets taken out of it by a No. Ill big lead early, you could even collect the huge money line odds with a No. Illinois ourtight win.

Take Northern Illinois +14.5 as a BIG 3-STAR PLAY.

MY RATING:  2-UNITS at +14.5. 
To cover +14.5, Florida State will probably need to win by 17.  If you can only find +14 lower the play to just 1.5 UNITS because Fla State will only need 14 points to push at that line.  The 1/2 point is worth close to 3 points for you.
 
MONEY MANAGEMENT:  Risk $220 to win $200 on No. Illinois +14.5 OR $165 to win $150 at +14.
