Play on NY Mets at 7:10 ET.   Just go ahead and "discard" the previous start of Mets 'knuckleballer' R.A. Dickey.  Rainy conditions in Atlanta were a nightmare for him, making it near impossible to throw his signature pitch, which is why he was tagged for eight runs.  Dickey has a much stronger history going against the Marlins.  Last season saw him win all three starts against them in dominant fashion.  He allowed just an unearned run over 20 innings while striking out 16.  He seems to be catching Miami at a great time here as the Marlins' offense is struggling mightily over the last three games, all losses.  The Fish have gone a combined 13 for 95 at the plate (.137 BA) while striking out a horrible 26 times.  Even sorrier is that the lineup has produced just five extra base hits during this span and scored only three runs.  Just to show how effective Dickey can be, we used him two starts ago as he and the Mets upset the favored Phillies as a +170 dog.  Dickey allowed just one run, scattering nine hits, over seven innings there.  He's been quite successful in the underdog role going back a couple of seasons w/ a 22-15 TSR, including 20-10 at +150 or less.  Considering the Marlins' recent woes, they should not be a road favorite in this spot.  They are just 2-7 on the road overall.  Because of all the offseason activity, Miami is officially overvalued in the marketplace.   Take NY Mets.
