The difference in this game will be the Giants momentum heading into it.  San Francisco had a great defense heading into last week but was torched by Drew Brees and New Orleans.  Alex Smith and the 49ers offense did play better but that was against a horrible Saints defense.  New York is clicking on both sides of the ball and is also healthy.  The Giants also have the confidence that they know they can go out to San Francisco and play well.  New York was in a great position to win earlier in the season against San Francisco, despite not playing particularly well in that game and also being banged up.  The Giants defense was just dominating last week against a potent offense, and I expect them to dominate a weaker 49ers offense as well.  Eli Manning is in great rhythm with his offense and receivers as well.  I feel that it's an added edge for the Giants to play on the road, as they will get away from the pressure of the New York media.  They are also used to playing in these big games while it's new to the 49ers.  Look for New York to get the outright win and move on to the Super Bowl.
