Both Carolina and Phlly are coming off games last night. Philly won 5-2 over Buffalo and Carolina lost 5-2 in Toronto. This is a great bounce back spot for the Hurricanes. With Carter Hart playing last night, Philly goes with Felix Sandstrom today. Sandstrom is 1-10-1 on the season with a 3.37 GAA and .887 Save Percentage. He’s allowed at least 4 goals in 8 of 12 starts this year. Carolina still sits 1 point up on the Devils for 1st place and cannot afford back to back losses. Especially to a Philly team that has not won back to back games since January 13th/14th. They are 3-12 in their last 15 games. I expect a solid effort from Anderson in net and the Canes defensively. The Hurricanes rank 2nd behind the Bruins in Goals Against 5v5, Goals Against per 60 and are first in the league in Expected Goals Against and shots on goal against. Carolina wins easy.
