Analysis: I like Michigan St. on the money-line on Friday morning. I’m not a fan of this USC team nor how they’re playing heading into the tournament. They’ve lost 2 of their L/3 games including a bad loss to an average at best Arizona St team their last game. On the flip side Izzo has his club playing their best ball of the year coming into the tournament. They’ve won 6 of their L/9 games (vs good competition) & made a decent run in the Big-10 tournament before falling short to Ohio St. USC is (2-5 ATS L/7) games vs teams with a winning SU record. USC is (1-4 ATS L/5) game’s following a ATS loss. Michigan St is (10-3 ATS L/13) game’s following a SU loss. We have the more efficient offense with Mich St & the better team from 3 point land (#3 in the nation at a extremely strong 40%) & they also have the edge from the free throw line. I also see a definite edge coaching wise here with coach Izzo. The bottom line for me here as I feel that there’s strong value on these Spartans on the money-line in this spot & I have Michigan St. winning this game by 4-5 points.
