The Rangers played last night in LA and scored a nice come from behind win. Igor Shesterkin played well in net and tonight Jaro Halak gets the start. Halak has struggled posting a -3.1 Goals Saved Above Expected. He’s 0-4-1 with a .883 save percentage. John Gibson for the Ducks isn’t any better. Gibson ranks 69th of 74 goalies with a -5.8 Goals Saved Above Expected. He also has a poor save percentage at .899. This one is simple. Gibson has allowed 3 or more goals in 12 of his 15 starts. Halak has allowed 3 or more goals in 4 of his 5 starts. We have 2 teams capable of scoring goals and 2 goaltenders likely to give up their fair share of em. Don’t over-think it, bet the over.
