Green Bay Packers +1
Tampa’s 27th ranked offense (not a mistake) is going to be under even more pressure this week, as Mike Evans is suspended for the game. It’s one thing to play without Godwin, but having Brady’s top weapon out could be a complete disaster. Furthermore, LT Donovan Smith is out, further depleting this O-line. Packers rank 2nd so far on the year in the QB-pressure department so this could very well be where this game is decided. While the Packers got their own injury issues on the offensive end, at least they’ll have their #1 receiver (Lazard) available and the O-line is getting healthier. One key issue for the Bucs D is that Akiem Hicks is out for this one. We all know that both of these teams will be relying heavily on their run-games, and I see Green Bay having much more success with it. While the Bucs D has played out of their mind so far this year, both came against bottom-10 offensive units in DAL and NO. Packers will be a much more difficult challenge and I’ll back the better team with confidence in this one.
