How does A & M keep up with the Razorbacks offensively? Sam Pittman spoke this week about how Arkansas is familiar with Maxx Johnson from his days at LSU. Arkansas prepared for Johnson last year and shut down the Tigers offense for a couple of possessions until Johnson was benched. A&M struggled to move the ball against Miami gaining just 264 yards of offense and going 4/12 on 3rd downs. Did Arkansas get caught overlooking an opponent last week, probably, but a win is a win. This week at Jerry’s World, the Razorbacks will be up for A&M. The Aggies defense has been solid but the secondary is in for a big step up in class dealing with Matt Landers and Oklahoma transfer Jadon Haselwood. I think KJ Jefferson outplays Johnson, the receivers for the Razorbacks make plays, and Arkansas wins this game outright.
