The Astros Clinched the division last night and today have decided to give Yordan Alvarez the day off. I can see the team coming out slow after what probably was a relief last night, even though the division was inevitable. They have the 1 seed wrapped up and I don’t see them pushing through the next 2 weeks. Shane McClanahan is looking not only to pitch the Rays into the top wild card spot, but also prove he has what it takes to beat the Astros should they line up in a postseason series. We have the more motivated team here at home with a clear pitching advantage with Shane over Javier. I’d play this up to -165.
