Look for Louisville to go all out at home for interim coach Mike Pegues' first game as head coach replacing the departed Chris Mack. Louisville went 5-1 to start the season when Pegues replaced Mack, who was suspended for the first six games.
Now Pegues takes over when Louisville is in stop-the-pain mode having lost five of its last six games.
High-profile Duke is Louisville's opponent. So there's automatic line value here.
The Blue Devils are strong again, of course, but they have some vulnerabilities. One of which could be transition defense if forward Trevor Keels has to miss a third straight game due to a calf injury. Duke also is below average when it comes to defensive rebounding.
This might be nit-picking, but the Blue Devils often are overpriced. I think that's the case here. Duke has failed to cover in 13 of its last 19 road games.
