Analysis

The oddsmakers are giving respect to the Cavs with this opening line but I don’t think the betting market is showing much respect to Cleveland with majority of the tickets and money coming in on the Knicks when they’re on the 2nd end of a back to back and they’re not the better team. The Cavs defense is legit having the 3rd best defensive rating while playing the 6th hardest schedule led by their version of the twin towers with Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. Also Darius Garland deserves strong consideration to be an all star and I think he’ll have an advantage in this matchup. My numbers make this line 9 so I’ll lay the points with the Cavs.
