Analysis

This line opened up at 4.5 and now up to 6 so I think this line is inflated and my numbers have the 49ers being a 1 point favorite. The 49ers are 8-2 SU and ATS in their last 10 games coming into this matchup and going back to matchup with these 2 teams on 9/26 the 49ers lost by 2 points as 3 point home favorites but they’re a different team now compared to then. In that game Trey Sermon was the lead back with 10 carries now its Elijah Mitchell and Deebo Samuel only had 2 carries and he’s now involved in the offensive game plan as a running back and wide receiver. Jimmy Garroppolo was also responsible for 2 turnovers and the 49ers offense was still able to score 28 points and be in position to win the game so I think the 49ers have a strong chance to score 25+ points on this Packers defense that finished the regular season with the 11th worst weighted DVOA defensively while having the 11th easiest schedule of offenses faced. Some key defensive players got banged up for the 49ers against the Cowboys but according to reports there’s growing optimism that Nick Bosa and Fred Warner will be good to play as well as Jimmy Garroppolo.
