Analysis

So far this season the Knicks defense hasn’t looked like it did last year when they were a top 2 defense in the league but over their last 10 games they’ve started to play a lot better ranking 8th in defensive rating and 2nd in opponent eFG%. Tom Thibodeau also made a rotation adjustment by removing Kemba Walker and over their last 2 games their best player Julius Randle has started to play a lot like he did last year. I think there’s value in laying this short number as I have the Knicks 6.05 points better than Denver. The Knicks have played better over their last 2 games even in losses but those losses came against the the top 2 teams in the Eastern Conference (Nets & Bulls) now they’ll be up against a struggling Nuggets team that’s been effected by injuries while the Knicks will get one of the their better players back in RJ Barrett who will improve their depth and is capable of having a big game.
