Don't be fooled by the Flyers' 3-2 record. Yes, the Flyers upset the Oilers, 5-3, last night as a huge plus $1.75 road 'dog. Credit to the Flyers for that. But Philadelphia isn't as good as its record. I base that on the Flyers' below-par goaltending and well below average rate of shots on goal and against. 

This is just the Flyers' second road game of the season. Philadelphia is in a letdown spot and playing without rest. The Flyers have lost the past seven times when playing on the second of back-to-back nights. 

The Canucks are eager to atone for a frustrating 3-2 loss to the Wild in their home opener two days ago. Vancouver opened with six consecutive road games going a respectable 3-3. The Canucks are 5-0 the past five times when playing on one day's rest.
