I'm playing on PHILADELPHIA. The Phillies got great pitching last night but looked like they would squander it. The finally came to life when it mattered though, winning in the bottom of the 9th inning. That's absolutely the type of win which they needed and the type which will provide positive momentum. Now, they go for the series win with Wheeler on the mound. Given that he's got an outstanding 2.51 ERA and 0.94 WHIP through 12 starts, stirking out 100 in 82 innings, that's a great place to be. A closer look reveals that Wheeler has a 1.97 ERA and 0.72 WHIP in his seven home starts. Even better, he's got a dominant 1.19 ERA and 0.46 WHIP in four daytime starts. Opposing hitters are batting .109 against him in those games. While also capable, Anderson has gone less than five innings in b2b starts. He's also got a poor 5.14 ERA and 1.71 WHIP in his three daytime starts. Look for Wheeler to do his thing, the Phillies closing the series with another important win.
