We can start with the SoCal weather, which is never bad, but tonight at first pitch we'll have (as usual) very low humidity and a helping breeze out to right-center. The Angels offense is hitting on all cylinders lately, plating five or more runs in four straight games, and last night they did it without Jared Walsh. Brad Keller isn't the stopper, either. His road splits aren't good, and he already beat the Angels earlier this season and we know what to do there. Last night the Royals sat Nicky Lopez (who always burns me anyway) and Benintendi who had been super hot. Tonight their offense should produce. Griffin Canning has had several starts that didn't last four innings and in four home starts his WHIP is 1.76 and he's allowed two HR's in three of his nine starts and at least one in four straight. Adam Hamari will be behind the plate, and although he can go either way, in two games he's called in this park this year there were 11 and 15 runs scored respectively. So, both teams get to four which makes this a bet every time.
I did bet the A's over this afternoon, and a small ML parlay with Oakland and San Diego. Nothing big.
