I used -1 to be consistent as I bet and released this to clients a while ago, so given the current number I might just play the ML. I think people's rationale here is that Philadelphia does need another win or two, but they have two home games left with Orlando so the sense of urgency isn't tonight. And, of course, people are expecting Embiid to be out. He may well be but there is always more to the story. Miami doesn't NEED to win as they've avoided any potential play-in game, and seeding is less important not even knowing or being able to come close to knowing who the first round opponent will, or could, be. With that said, Jimmy Butler is not a certainty to start for the Heat, either. I would always prefer to wait to see who is playing, but in this case if Butler does play and Embiid does not the line will go higher, and in the event it's the other way around, it'll go lower. With that said, bet accordingly.
