The Lakers playing at home at Staples at the present time simply is not the daunting task for opponents it usually is. Frankly it just won't be until they get Davis back on the floor. They have now dropped four of their last five games and yes, they did snap their skid hosting the Blazers in the last game. But the Warriors have quietly been gathering steam and are flying under the radar. Golden State enters this game having prevailed now in three straight games. Oh and yes, they have already knocked off the champs on their floor once this season. They are getting healthier and will clearly be more than formidable the rest of the season provided they can stay healthy. I will give props to James as he is doing everything he possibly can to carry this Lakers club on his back until AD is back. He put in 36 minutes Friday night in the win against the Blazers. Finished with 28 points, 11 boards and 7 assists. I fully expect another huge effort from the King here but I also expect likewise for Steph Curry, This has close battle written all over it. Most importantly is the fact we are getting a good number here. I say Golden State is the winning side here more often than not. I would not at all be surprised to see the Warriors get it done outright. But as it is I will gladly take the points.
Okay fellas. Been a very strong season to date in league play. 62% winners over the course of the first half of the season is good. But it also means 38% of my NBA games have gone down. Nothing is a lock or sure thing. All that noise is precisely that. Bullshit noise. Please never over hit any one game. It's a journey guys. I know that gets boring but it is reality.
