The Lakers are looking very much in dire need of the impending All Star break. Frankly to me I think it is a total blunder and poor judgement by the league to even have the game this year. With the short break from the last season these teams could use some much needed time off. I don't think most folks in all honesty even care much about the thing. But with that being said we have a Lakers team dragging their feet into Utah to take on a very, very legit Jazz team that has had a fantastic first half of the season. I can tell you there are many people around Columbia Missouri feeling kind of stupid for letting Quin Snyder get away. The guy can flat out coach. We see the Lakers become much more human without Anthony Davis to help carry the load. Having Dennis Schroder has not exactly helped their cause either. It's the NBA so on any night strange things can happen but I do feel we have some value here with the Jazz at home laying less than double digits. Chalk that up to the Lakers brand and King James who, to his credit, is playing his heart out and getting in a ton of minutes. As for the Jazz they have all their weapons and are hitting on all cylinders. Snyders Jazz can fill it up and they can also defend. Bottom line is right now, at this time, this is just a nightmare matchup for the short handed Lakers. This night will belong to the Jazz and yes, I do strongly feel they will prevail here by double digits.
Now, and this is important. I have hit 60% on the season in the NBA with all selections. That is solid as hell but frankly the last week and a half have had some tough losses. Some close, not so much with some others. It is impossible, absolutely impossible to breeze through an entire season without having some dry spells. This is not a Triple. Please play it like any double. I try hard to strive to keep things real around here. I try to just stay in my own lane and do the work. And I try to be straight up with all my clients. Anyway, enough on all that. Many sincere thanks as always and best of luck to each of us. Enjoy the game fellas. Steve
