This number started out at a great number at betonline at 142, but someone picked that off. I waited all morning for this number to drop at the books and I feel this number is still too high. I made my number for this game 134.5...So we do have some value here for sure. These two teams can play defense and VCU showed that in the 2nd half off their game yesterday. VCU decided to play no defense in the first half and that hurt them as they went into half trailing. I like the fact that this is a big test for them and they can run it right back with that solid defense here to start the game. Memphis was a lack of defense in the 2nd half. So I'm thinking they focus on defense first here to start. Another thing that stuck out was the 3pt shooting. Memphis was solid and they might got o the well here too much. VCU will be up on them at the 3pt line. VCU on the other hand was terrible shooting the 3ball yesterday and they might go away from that today as that's not what helped them get a win in the 2nd half..So I would assume less 3pt shooting here. Last factor for me was Memphis not getting to the free throw line. If a team struggles to get free points it's tough for them to exceed the posted team total. i think it all adds up for an under play here tonight.
