You guys that have been following along know it's unusual for me to take a sizable favorite, but that's the play tonight. Exactly like we thought the Heat would at least cover the half of game one, we love the Lakers for many of the same reasons. Denver has just played two seven game series' and has had three days' rest. Los Angeles has played two  five game series'  and had six days rest, which is on top of having a better team. They dropped the first game of both series' and proceeded to simply cover and win the next four games each time. They probably learned from those, and learned to extend a lead based on watching the last two games the Heat played. They won't take any chances. The Lakers (on paper) have a better defense, a better offense, and get the the FT line a ton more than the Nuggets, which adds up to a cover over 48 minutes. The matchup the Nuggest COULD have is that the Lakers can allow fast break points, but Denver just doesn't play the style that can take advantage of that. The bottom line here is that this is "only" seven based on what the Nuggets have done, but that not only wakes the Lakers up to the possibility of losing, thereby forcing a 110% effort, but takes just too much energy from Denver, and that's all I have.
