3* on NEVADA WOLFPACK -7
We are getting extremely strong value laying only -7 here IMO. We have the vastly superior team in every important category (rebounding, FT's, FG%, FG% against, 3pt FG%, 3 pt FG% against, turnovers, and bench play). This Wolfpack club has also been very strong at HOME (11-2) this season. This young Fresno St. team who start 3 freshman have been bad on the ROAD and especially vs the top tier teams in the Mountain West conference. There is a massive drop off after the conferences top 4-5 teams and this Nevada club sits just 1/2 game out of 2nd place in the conference while Fresno St is a bottom tier club in the conference. There is no look ahead spot here for Nevada, as their next game is vs another bottom tier conference foe at Wyoming. This Fresno St club does not have one impressive win all season & their only wins in conference have been vs the absolutely bottom tier teams. On the flip side we have this Nevada club playing their best ball of the season right now. It helps that the Wolfpack have 4 senior starters and they have recently smacked the crap out of the other conference bottom tier teams and I fully expect them to win this game vs another bottom tier team on their home court in front of their loud fans in a rare game that is on the ESPN networks. Fresno St is 0-6 ATS L/6 games vs teams with a winning% of .600 or more and are just 3-12 ATS L/15 games vs teams with winning records. On the flip side Nevada has covered 6 straight vs teams with a winning% of less than .400 on the road. They are also a spotless 4-0 ATS L/4 games as HOME favs. The bottom line for me here is that I have Nevada winning this game by double digits after 40 minutes of play and I'm all over them at this price and in this spot on Saturday Night.
