Analysis

It's a bad spot for the Clippers. It's the last game before the break, they're on the end of a four game road trip, and on the East Coast. Boston lost at LA by three in OT and THAT loss was the end of a road trip for Boston, this is the end of a road trip for LA. These are different teams, if for no other reason that the Celtics didn't have Hayward. AND The Clippers may be without their best defender, Patrick Beverly. What I ALSO love is Boston third quarter. Stevens has always been a great HT adjustment coach. Boston has won the third quarter in six of their last seven and six straight at home, and generally by a lot. They're third in the NBA in third quarter points scored and they're third in the league in third quarter points ALLOWED. And, even in that loss at LA, Boston won the third quarter - SO, the Celtics will win the game and the third quarter.
