PLAY: UNDER Suns/Knicks
RATING: TRIPLE DIME PLAY
Working backwards (for me) these two met in Phoenix less than two weeks ago, a game won by the Suns 120-112. A closer look at that game saw a 66 point first quarter, with the Knicks scoring 37.The fourth quarter has 62 with the Suns scoring 37. I expect more tonight like the 2nd and 3rd quarters. In that game Marcus Morris was the Knicks' leading scorer and he is questionable to play tonight. Booker had a monster night with 38, which may well happen again, but Kelly Oubre had 29 for the Suns and he is OUT tonight. The point is that they got to 232, in Phoenix, with different rotations. The Suns played a 233 game in Atlanta the other night, and the Hawks play faster and score more than New York. Prior to that they'd played four straight unders. The Knicks have played six of seven overs, so we're getting a good number here, and those were WITH Oubre. The Knicks have been taking way more shots lately then their season average, but two of those three games were against New Orleans and Milwaukee, and most of the Knicks high scoring games were blowouts as double digit underdogs. The bottom line here is that what these teams were and what they are right now don't reflect a higher scoring game.
