The Steelers were good to me once again last week against the Rams. As they were the prior week hosting the Colts. But both those were home games and now they travel on the short week to Cleveland to do battle in a divisional game against a huge rival. I could be wrong of course but I suspect every square walking the earth will be loving the Steelers here in the role of dog. Appears to be easy money, Browns over the Steelers?? You have to learn to listen to what the lines are telling you. This game and line screams Cleveland to me. Back when I was booking this was one of those games I would see the public get mauled on. Clearly this season has fallen short of expectations for the Browns, problem is as I see it those expectations were too lofty to begin with. They seemed to expect to move from the outhouse to the penthouse in one quick swoop. Rarely works that was in the NFL. But, this is still a very capable and dangerous team at home. Keep in mind this is the same Browns team that whipped the Baltimore Ravens 40-25. The Bills learned last sunday that Cleveland still very much has a pulse. The Browns have covered the number the last two times the Steelers have come to town and I expect them to do likewise here. So what is preventing me from grading this as a triple? Candidly I don't trust Freddie Kitchens much further than I could toss him. I think he is a poor head coach by league standards. For the loyal Browns fan base I hope John Dorsey comes to his senses in that area and cut's bait. This is a team that has a huge upside but they need a better driver behind the wheel than Kitchens. I know Mike McCarthy is certainly close to Dorsey from their ties to Green Bay and I think Dorsey could do a helluva lot worse than him. But, as for this one game we are wagering Thursday night I smell a huge trap being set by the odds makers. I see a monster red flag waving here. I say we go with the Browns to get it done. I will pay the extra juice to get this under the FG, I still like it at -3 but obviously 2.5 is stronger. If for some reason I see this go above a FG I will pull this package from sales. 

Okay, we have been rolling along but the theme remains consistent. One game at a time. Please do not over play this or any other game. Just not worth the risk long term. Not trying to be preachy guys, totally the contrary. I am trying to help. Lot of season left, one step at a time and let's keep building that roll.
