I'm playing on KC. These starters went head-to-head against each other, at Detroit, back on 4/4. Both delivered quality starts but the Tigers finished on top by a 5-4 score. Junis has always pitched well against the Tigers though and I expect him to get some revenge today. He's allowed three or fewer earned runs in his last seven starts against Detroit, going six or more innings in the last six of those. Junis has made two career home starts against the Tigers and he won both. In fact, he went the distance the last time that he faced the Tigers here. Overall, in those two home starts against Detroit, Junis allowed four earned runs in 16 innings, striking out 15 against just one walk. Backed by the lowest-scoring offense in the AL, Turnbull got no run support last time out. Expect that to be an issue for him once again.
