Have tons of leans but really need lineups for them. Too many questionable guys. I do like Canning but I'm going with the fact that the three hitter against the Royals is the outlier here. He was hit a bit (or a lot) in his other starts and he's been missing up and getting away with it. This is a veteran Texas team that should be able to take advantage of that. The weather is fine, and most of the four starts Canning has had have been against fairly weak offenses. That last game he went seven innings but the previous three he didn't make it through six, bringing in the Angels pen, which has a 6.89 ERA over the last week. So, the Rangers get their four runs here. I know the Angels don't hit LHP real well and that's been my hesitation. But, it's Drew Smyly, not Kerhsaw or Sale. Smyly has only made it through five innings once this season and is also a big time flyball pitcher. I don't see this line coming down whether Otahni plays or not. The Texas pen has been trash most of the season, so the Angels also get their four runs making this a push at absolute worst.
