I'm playing on KC. Its been a tough start to the season for the Royals but they've got a highly favorable matchup here. Duffy has quietly put together back-to-back strong starts, posting a 2.13 ERA to begin May. Two outings ago, in his last home start, he limited the Rays to one earned run through six innings. He struck out six against one walk. Duffy followed that up by allowing two runs through six innings, in a win at Houston. Duffy should get plenty of support in this one; Miller has an ugly 8.18 ERA in three road starts this season. Overall, he's got a terrible 7.48 ERA and 1.92 WHIP. Last time out, Miller went four innings. In his previous start, he went 3 1/3. That means that the Royals will be taking a lot of swings at a Texas bullpen which has a combined ERA above five on the road. Duffy held the Rangers to four hits and one run through 7 2/3 innings in his lone 2018 start against them. In his previous start against them, he tossed 8 1/3 shutout innings but lost 1-0 in the ninth. Expect Duffy to get the better of Miller, the Royals finishing on top.
