Well we cashed with the triple star on Friday afternoon with Oregon coming on late strong and beating down Wisconsin by a resounding 18 points. Sometimes you get a feel for a certain team over the course of a season and can ride it to the bank. Thus has been the case this year with Dana Altman and his Ducks. I've released a total of twelve games involving Oregon going BOTH with and against and we have won ten of the twelve. But the fact is lately they have just been on a search and destroy mission. They have now won AND covered the number in a sick nine games straight. Not only that they have won by an average of eighteen points per game. I've followed Altman ever since he coached in Jr College ball back in the 80's in my hometown of Moberly, Mo. He coached the Greyhounds there in his first head coaching position and I can assure you his success through his career shocks nobody back in these parts. He took a team that suffered a huge loss with the injury to Bol Bol and rebooted and his kids bought into what he was selling. This has evolved into one of the most unselfish clubs he's ever had. They are versatile and can play inside-out with Wooten and Pritchard, defend well and move the ball well. Altman will also press at any moment in a game. Wooten is a shot blocker supreme as Happ and the Badgers learned the hard way. I like this UC Irvine club and they are a nice story. But it is my own opinion they are in the wrong place at the wrong time here. The Ducks are hitting on all cylinders and playing with a swagger. Dangerous team right now. I see no reason to abandon ship here. I am once again going with the Oregon Ducks to win their 10th straight game and cover their 10th straight game. Triple star here fellas.
