VCU is coming off a scare against Dayton where they dominated throughout and let the Flyers back into the game late. VCU is tied for the lead in the A-10 with Davidson, and Davidson has the win over VCU already. There are no lock at-large bids in the A-10 at the moment, and every game is vital for VCU. Rhode Island won the first matchup 71-65, and the two teams went in opposite directions after that one. VCU hasn't lost since (6-0 SU/ATS) and Rhode Island is 1-5 SU/ATS since that game. Rhody averages 12.5 turnovers per game in A-10 play, and against the best defense in the conference, that just won't fly. VCU has won their last 3 home games by an average of 18.3 ppg., and a struggling Rhode Island doesn't seem to me like the team to slow them down.
