I like Purdue in this game tonight..Might not be the popular side, but I feel we will get a motivated team here on the road. Purdue is a good team with a record that is correct. They've lost some games they could've won, but overall the SOS is good for them. Strong tests all year long as they played the likes of Davidson, Va Tech, FSu, Michigan, Maryland, Texas, Notre Dame, Iowa...That's noc ake walk and some of those losses came back to back against ranked teams. So it's not crazy to think this is the more tested team..Michigan St on the other hand is ranked high and has two losses. One to Kansas and one to Louisville. They also have some ranked wins as they beat UCLA, Iowa and Ohio St. I'm not surer impressed with them because they've played a weaker schedule. So I'm not buying the stats for them as much as I am Purdue.
So when I went through the stats and I noticed Michigan St is very poor at turning teams over. That's a big stat and that will catch up with them at some point. Purdue is poor in Free throw attempts and 3pt defense...I'm more concerned about the 3pt defense in this game because Michigan St. can shoot the lights out. Some of that is because they just haven't played enough good teams. Purdue also has some revenge from last year as well..I'm one of a few guys who carries over revenge, but when it's in conference and a marquee game, I do include that...Line is close, but laying 8.5 seems a bit too much for me...Edwards for Purdue will be hard to stop in this game and he will have a big game for us tonight.
