The possibility of a track meet for this game is very high. We are also getting a great number here at 58...The PPG numbers don't even add up correctly. The total if we just take the PPG should be 69 points. So that's wrong for sure. Also take into consideration the teams that Fresno has faced. They have played some of the worst offensive teams in the nation. That has helped the defensive PPG for them overall. On the other side Nevada defense has shown to be very bad. Nevada played Toledo and got crushed 63-44. Fresno played Toledo and won 49-27. So if Toledo can beat Nevada and Fresno can beat Toledo and Toledo scored 63 points on Nevada. How many points can Fresno score in this game. Fresno is a 15pt road favorite guys. So they expect them to score a good amount of points. Nevada on offense avgs 38ppg. That's in the top 25 just PPG in the nation. Plus Nevada is at home and they will be playing catch up I'm sure in this game. Both teams are also pass reliant on offense, but both run the ball well when they do run the ball. Plain and simple is I don't trust the season numbers as a whole. I see a bunch of odd scenarios within the season numbers. This game could be the highest scoring game of the day and the total is at just 58. It doesn't make any sense. Now Nevada QB Ty Gangi didn't practice all week and he is expected to miss this game. No news has broke that he is officially out, but my guess is the injury is being kept quiet because nobody knows for sure. I find it odd though that he played hurt and finished the game last week. Now after no practice they will sit him?...That doesn't make much sense to me at all. Even if he does sit, Nevada will still have no choice but to throw the ball for this game. If Gangi does play, i bet this total goes right back to 61 or even higher. With or without him, this game is going over. I see this one, 45-27 Final without Gangi. With him this game could hit 80+ without a doubt.
