I just returned from Los Angeles and was a little surprised at the lack of enthusiasm for this battle between their two teams. Although frankly it has been my experience in my travels out there to visit my daughter that it takes a lot to really put a charge into most those folks. Well, I happen to be interested because I think we have a really intriguing match up here. If you think this is just another game to the players on both clubs I think that is just wrong. Pride and ownership are the stakes here. Both call Los Angeles home and want to be the big dog on the block. Now it is no secret the Rams have the larger following and deeper roots than the new kids on the block from San Diego. But their will be Chargers fans there and although not as large in volume very vocal. I found more Rams fans out there but the Chargers backers more rabid. Anyway, I know I am rambling. You do these write ups for years and see if you don't wander off course from time to time, lol. 

I just don't get the seven points here fellas. The Rams are a big play with many because of the opening convincing wins over Oakland and Arizona. Well I think maybe both those two clubs are weaker than most of us suspected at the beginning of the season. The Chargers got knocked off at home in their opener but I think we all see now that losing to the Chiefs with the way Mahomes is spinning it is no disgrace. Just ask the Steelers. Then they went on the long road trip and early kick off against the Bills and dominated that game. Not the stiffest of opponents but lousy scheduling spot. I just look at these two clubs and see a entertaining game that should be in doubt up to the end and I think seven points is a gift and the side to be on. I can see a 23-20 type game. Everybody gets all jazzed up over the Rams and their high flying air attack but the stubborn fact is the Chargers are third in the league in passing offense. I also like the Chargers defense more than most seem to. They owned the trenches last week recording five sacks and getting two picks. Classic case here of the young gun going up against the aging gunslinger with Goff and Rivers. Yes, I expect the Rams to likely prevail with the outright but no way I am laying a touchdown here. I say take the points with Philip Rivers and the Chargers guys. 

Most of you know the drill. I don't promote locks or sure things so don't bet it like it is. Please play it like any other triple. It's most definitely a marathon and no sprint. Many sincere thanks and enjoy the game.
