I'm very surprised they dropped this total this high. Let's not forget an important lesson that has been learned over the life span of betting football. Week 1 has the biggest over reactions period. We saw Baltimore beat the brakes off a bad Bills team. Baltimore scored 47 points and that was very surprising. I'd be willing to bet they don't hit that many points again this entire season. With that said the Bills offense was terrible. Only 10 first down for the Bills and the passing game was brutal. Just 70 yards passing and 80yds rushing. The Ravens had the ball rather quick with all the punts the Bills had to give back. Buffalo also turned the ball over twice to give the Ravens a +1 in the turnover department. The Ravens had little success running the ball on 34 carries. Just 3.4ypc. Flacco looked good, but how will he be against a much better Bengals secondary? I think his production slips from last week, but not by a big margin. I could see Flacco going for 195-215yds in this game..Maybe 2 TD's at best. Ravens were on;y 6-15 on 3rd down, so maybe that's a key concern for the Ravens for this game. Only hitting 40% on 3rd down won't get it done on the road in a division game. Bengals got out gained against Indy last game..Bengals offense only managed a measly 330yds of offense. Just 101yds on the ground, but Mixon was very good at 5.6 yards per rush. Dalton was effective, but he also put the Colts in some good spots with his turnovers. We have to hope he doesn't do that here with a very very good Baltimore defense. Cincy won't change who they are even for a good defensive team. They will run the same old offense that they always have. Bengals depend on the play makers to do the work. Not the playbook from what I've seen with them since Dalton has been under center. I don't see either team getting burned deep in this game. Ravens will always respect the Bengals rushing attack and they will avoid stacking the box. I see Baltimore playing that rough and tough defense, but also having a little bend but don't break game plan as well. Bengals will just do what they need to to hang around in this game on defense. I could see the Bengals maybe protecting against the pass more because they have little respect for the Ravens rush attack with Collins leading the charge. I see nothing in the stats that say this is a high scoring game The stats to me say this comes in well below 44. The public and the books overreact to what happened last week. I'm not buying it. A very good game I think tonight. 19-17 Final either way.
