This total is wrong..It should be closer to 51. We have to consider a few things about the Eagles..Most think the Eagles could overlook the Falcons here..Line is only 2.5 for a reason. Atlanta has the deepest offense in the league according to my ratings...They can and will score on every team they play..Even on the road in Philly...Eagles have Foles starting..Some think that's a bad thing, but i like the the fact that Philly has now had Foles at starting QB for a while now..All those games last year and now the entire preseason. he's been named the starter publicly, but I'm sure the Eagles all knew that Foles was the guy to get the nod until Wentz is cleared to play. If you just take the raw numbers from last year with PPG...You get 45...Philly avg about 28.5 and ATl 22.5 on offense..They both allowed 40ppg combined for each...This is a different year though..I expect this Atlanta offense to be record breaking this year. I'm not sold on the Falcons defense on the road, but the Philly offense should be able to put up at least 24pts at home. I also don't trust the NFL one bit..They don't want an opening game being a dud of a game..I know we will see these dumb flags that they've been throwing in preseason on the defense..I could see some flags helping the scoring as well.....I'm not sure who wins this game, but my final score prediction would be 27-24 or 30-28...Which is far beyond the total number posted. They books are saying 24-21..I don't see either team staying under 24 in this game.
