Since 1978, the underdog in the UM/ND series has gone 23-7-1 ATS with 17 outright upsets. The Michigan defense has a huge advantage over a ND offense that loses its top RB, top WR, top 2 OL in the NFL Draft and their OL coach (best assistant on team). Also ND QB Brandon Wimbush completed less than 50% of his passes a year ago (practice reports have not been good) and he will be going up against arguably best secondary in the country. Meanwhile, Ole Miss transfer Shea Patterson is just what Jim Harbaugh needed to take the next step on offense.
