We had a pitchers duel for the most part in this series last night with the Dodgers winning the game 4-2..Late runs came from the pen, but tonight these starters should get hit. Tyson Ross has began to slip and his last two outings were terrible..He gave up a total of 15 ER in just two games...A bunch of HR's and walks his last 3 starts wont him tonight...After starting out hot he has now lost his last 4 of 5 starts...Stripling goes for the Dodgers and he has been good for the most part, but he usually throws a clunker after a good start...His last start was pretty good only giving up 3 hits and 1 ER...I don't see that happening tonight with the Padres who have seen Stripling before. Stripling has given up a HR in each of his last 6 starts..So trends matter and it says he will give up a shot tonight...That might just be the homer that gets us over the total.
