MILWAUKEE BREWERS w/ Peralta @ MIAMI MARLINS w/ Straily
1* Play on: OVER THE TOTAL
We’re going OVER in Game Three of the Brewers / Marlins series. Yes, we would have preferred a lesser matchup when it come to tonight’s starting pitchers down here in hot South Florida. But the home plate Umpire ALONE is worth a play on the OVER. And besides, Milwaukee hits right-handed pitchers much better than lefties. Almost a full run-per-game higher (4.8 rpg vs 3.9 rpg). And they come in on a hot 9-3-2 O/U run in their 14 games. Even though Miami is one of the worst offensive teams in the league, they have also found a little bit of a groove as of late… scoring 4 or more runs in each of their last four games. This is historically a pretty high-scoring series as well. The last 52 meetings between Milwaukee and Miami have gone 33-16-3 O/U… and that includes 23-8-2 O/U for the last 33 meetings down HERE in South Florida. We also know that Dan Straily of the Marlins is historically a pretty good OVER pitcher at home. His last 21 home starts dating back to last season have gone 16-4-1 O/U. Making this game at least 1-star ‘worthy’ is the Man in Blue. Working behind the dish for tonight’s series finale will be ADRIAN JOHNSON. we have been ON Johnson numerous times in the first half of this season, and he’s been very good to OVER bettors. His year-to-dater record is 13-3-1 O/U with an average of 10.5 combined runs per game. Yes, he is the NUMBER ONE (#1) ‘Over’ Umpire in all of Baseball for the year. His last two games had 15 combined runs scored each… and he’s gone a perfect 7-0 O/U in the National League this season (11.9 rpg).
