I'm playing on WASHINGTON (1* BREAKFAST CLUB). The Rays jumped all over them yesterday but the Nats will have a major advantage this afternoon. Scherzer could well become just the 11th player in history to record 1000 or more strikeouts with two different clubs - he needs 11. Either way, he should dominate this weak Tampa lineup. He's now 10-3 with a 2.09 ERA and 0.85 WHIP, striking out 161 in 107.2 innings. Dominating. He went h2h against Eovaldi a a few weeks ago. Naturally, Scherzer (who was -275 for that one) finsihed on top, recording 13 K's without walking a single batter. Since that time, Eovaldi's gone 0-2 (team is 0-3) with a 5.89 ERA. All things considered, this line could easily be even higher. Nats bounce back. Big.
