I'm backing the LA DODGERS (8* SPECIAL) with Maeda on the mound, against a Cubs' rookie making his major league debut. Maeda won't be winning any Cy Young Awards anytime soon. However, he's got a solid 3.41 ERA in seven home starts and he's now got a couple starts under his belt, since returning from the DL. On the other hand, Underwood Jr. was only 3-7 with a 4.27 ERA through 14 games (13 starts) at the Triple-A level. As for the current direction of the teams, the Cubs are reeling right now while the Dodgers are rolling. Expect the Dodgers to draw first blood.
